Manual Finish Recording
Organisers note finish times manually using stopwatches or clocks. Participants report finish times or punch control cards for verification.
Electronic Timing
Use electronic punching or timing systems (e.g., SportIdent, EMIT) to automatically record finish times and control visits. This greatly speeds up results processing and reduces errors.
Finish Line Setup
Clearly mark the finish area. Have staff or volunteers ready to assist with timing equipment and direct riders.
